[C#/Updates issue] Native methods no longer running after the last update (Bug update)

What did you do to get this issue? :

I’m developping in C# on a project with the FiveM framework.

No error on the log file.

The problem :

The native functions to create a character don’t work anymore. I already used the following methods but since some days it doesn’t work anymore :

World.CreateCamera(Vector3.Zero, Vector3.Zero, 70);
Function.Call<int>(Hash.CREATE_CAM_WITH_PARAMS, "DEFAULT_SCRIPTED_CAMERA", position.X, position.Y, position.Z, rotation.X, rotation.Y, rotation.Z, fov, 1, 2));

The first function doesn’t return a Camera object and the second return -1.

I reinstalled my server and my client and it’s didn’t changed anything. And I tried to create a basic script to know if it’s not because of my other script but nothing works.

So it’s why I post this message to know if you change something for the C# because in lua those functions work correctly.

It’s stucking my framework project so please could you help me.

This behavior is very odd. A quick glance at the commits for the World.cs file indicates no changes have been made. See History for code/client/clrcore/External/World.cs - citizenfx/fivem · GitHub

I will try this out myself tomorrow and report back to you.

Thanks for your answer @d0p3t.

I tried to remove all of my scripts and create a tiny resource with a creation of a camera on the constructor of my resources inheriting from BaseScript. But it’s the same, the functions doesn’t return a correct value.

And it’s weird because I can’t modify the Rendering Camera from World. Or may be I forget something.

This works fine for me, but you should use true instead of 1.

World.CreateCamera also returns a Camera object for me

I will retry tomorrow to see; but I always tried with this Function in searching in the source code of FiveM.

@d0p3t, I retried to use these methods but it don’t work for me… It’ a bit annoying. Let’s see above :

It returns on my log

So I don’t really understand the reason of this bug. If it’s not too much asked, would you have a sample resource to see if it’s the rest of my scripts that could block.

Need help, please. I reinstalled my VPS Server and FXServer completly and this problem is always present.

For future reference: Don’t run CreateCam scripts from console. There seems to be a bug with the console where it fails to run these natives, the developers are aware of this issue.

(this might be fixed in the future, so this answer may become somewhat obsolete).
