Best practices for server-side economy auditing in RedM (VORP)?

Hey all,

I’m working on a RedM server-side tool focused on economy auditing and admin transparency, built entirely around VORP server hooks.

The goal isn’t anti-cheat or client-side detection, but having an authoritative audit trail for:

  • cash / bank / gold changes
  • admin-initiated money grants
  • job payouts vs manual adjustments
  • post-incident review when something looks off

I’m curious how other server owners or developers are approaching this today.

Specifically:

  • How are you tracing where money originated from?
  • Do you log admin actions separately from player actions?
  • Are you storing long-term economy data or just short-term logs?
  • Any pitfalls you’ve run into with VORP money hooks?

Would love to hear what patterns or approaches others are using.
Thanks!
