I don’t understand why a discord is needed just for people who code C# in FiveM. If there is any relevant information or whatever, why not post it on the forum instead of a server that you suck everybody onto? That ultimately splits everybody up, and then things will be even harder to find. That will lead people to not contributing on the forum.
I agree. I feel like this is like another attempt for people to “charge” for scripts in what they think no one would catch on to.
Well i don’t see people contributing , do you?Few post about C# , some of them are veven so old that you wouldn’t get a reply. And everytime you ask something on the fivem discord you get a Lua guy answering “I don’t know C#” , “I don’t see sharp” , and that really helps.
So? Start the conversation on here then? There’s no need really for a new Discord server just to talk about C#. There’s a few people on the FiveM Discord that do know C#, you just have to wait until they get on (no-one’s on 24/7).
Contributing to what? You know C# is the minority on here, right? It’s a good language and all but, the Lua side of it is much easier to learn and there’s more content in Lua on other GTA modding sites (so, the idiots can easily copy-paste). And there are people talking about the C# side of stuff on here! I saw a post the other day asking for, and then giving, examples on how to use events in C#. So, don’t say no-one is not contributing because that’s just a flat out lie.
Maybe not from the OP but, if you ask and it’s a question that no-one’s asked you may get someone else from the community to reply.
So, don’t ask them. Wait for an answer from someone who knows what they’re talking about and ask them. Patience is key when asking questions in this community, if it’s an intelligent question and someone knows the answer, you will eventually get an answer. If no-one knows the answer they will start a conversation on how you can solve the problem. That’s the whole point of the forum and the Discord. You creating a new Discord just for conversing about C# segregates them and stops others, who may not want to join yet another Discord but know about the C# API, from participating.
