After a clean installation, FiveM does not open

What happened?

I have GTA V Legacy installed via the Rockstar Games Launcher. I have accessed both single-player and multiplayer modes, and everything works perfectly.
However, when I start FiveM, Rockstar Games Launcher opens and does nothing else.

Checking the CitizenFX logs (C:\Users\aramon\AppData\Local\FiveM\FiveM.app\logs) reveals the following:

I have confirmed that the path to the GTA V Legacy is correctly defined in CitizenFX.ini.

I have disabled Windows Defender, the firewall, NVIDIA overlay and filters completely. I have reset the ‘IPv6 Multicast Listener Discovery (MLD) Level’.

In desperation, I reformatted my computer, but the problem persisted. I also formatted Windows 10 in case the problem was specific to Windows 11, but it didn’t help.

I also tried using the Epic Games and Steam versions instead of GTA V Legacy for Rockstar Games Launcher, but the problem persisted.

I previously tried to find a solution on Discord and on the forum, but nobody has been able to provide one, and I have been dealing with this problem for several weeks now.

Reproduction steps

  1. Download and install the Rockstar Games Launcher.
  2. Download Grand Theft Auto V: The Legacy Edition.
  3. Enter Singleplayer and Multiplayer.
  4. Download and install FiveM.
  5. Run FiveM.

Additional information

I cloned the repository to try and find the problem, but the strange thing is that it starts up correctly when I run the solution locally. I was actually quite surprised by this, and I’m not sure where else to look.

i have the same problem if u find a solution lmk

try to open your “AppData\Local” folder and delete the folder “DigitalEntitlements” then reopen your fivem
note : if it doesn’t work remove the folder DigitalEntitlements again and open gta v from rockstar first after the game launch close it and open fivem

I downloaded and compiled the FiveM source code locally, and that version starts up without any problems. But I don’t understand anything!

I can’t get any further than this.

ipc.log (178 Bytes)
CitizenFX_log_2025-10-30T181032.log (1.6 KB)

I think the problem stems from the IPC communication between ROS_Launcher and FiveM. However, I don’t know how to resolve it. Any ideas?

I’ve updated the initial post to include everything I’ve discovered and seen. Let’s see if anyone on the forum can help me, since Cfx.re support told me that they can’t.
