@Rytrak what do you think of making option to break from this escort? So players could attempt to resist? Would be much more roleplay wise and worthy.

So just to confirm, for anyone like myself that has written their own cuffing, escorting and seating/unseating, or even those that use free scripts like esx_policejob or similar, this will add;

  • An animation to the person escorting, of holding a coffee/drink (minus the prop)
  • A walking animation to the person being escorted
  • Collision to the person being escorted

Since most people already have cuffing, escorting and seating/unseating.
So it’s ~$15 Euro for 2 animations and keeping collision to a ped? Or am I missing something?

The goal of this resource is for everyone to give their opinion and it’s ideas, several ideas will be implemented on this script that will be visible in the next few days, such as an advanced door opening system, as well as a system to free yourself from the escort. The price will remain the same with all future additions :+1:

I do not really get the attacks on the developer on this one. It’s such a simple script, and yet almost all the servers I’ve played on thus far have no animation for the person getting escorted.

Is it simple? Yes
Is it expensive considering lines of code? Yes
Do you pay for lines of code? No, you pay for the idea.
If the price is too high for you - write it yourself. If you don’t like the idea - hey, welcome to the cfx forums! You’ll find hundreds, if not thousands of scripts, and will probably buy and/or download a handful of them.

Rytrak - good job! The price is indeed a little too high for me, so I will not be buying, but I definitely like the idea!

For the moment the script does not give the possibility to take the arrested person out of the vehicle, in a next update that is coming it will be able to.
