[UPDATE 1.5] - New Features & Improvements :ambulance::helicopter:

Hey everyone! We’ve just rolled out Version 1.5 of the AI Ambulance System, packed with more customization options and enhanced functionality. Here’s what’s new:

:hammer_and_wrench: More Customization Options

  • Player Status Check: You can now customize how the script checks whether a player is dead or alive, making it compatible with any ambulance or system in ESX or QBCore.
  • Editable Dispatch Function: We’ve added a new placeholder function that allows you to run custom checks before the AI ambulance is dispatched. Whether it’s based on player location, interactions with other scripts, or custom conditions, you’re in control. By default, dispatch is always allowed, but now you can tweak it to fit your server’s unique needs.

:helicopter: Helicopter Ambulance Improvements

  • More Coverage: The AI helicopter ambulance is no longer limited to stranded areas like mountains! Now, it can be dispatched within the city of Los Santos, especially when the injured player is out of reach for a ground ambulance—like on top of a tall building. :wink:
    (We know some of you really want to die on the top of Maze Bank :office:—don’t worry, we’ve got you covered :joy:)

:gear: General Improvements & Optimizations

  • We’ve made several tweaks and optimizations to ensure the system runs smoothly and efficiently.

  • Client File Updates: The editable client file now includes checks for player status, allowing you to implement it into more frameworks and custom ambulance systems.
  • Editable Notification Function: You can now customize notification messages directly in the config, including translating them to fit your server’s needs.

:satellite: Server Event Customization

  • We’ve added editable server events, including the system responsible for counting online EMS players, giving you more control over how your server operates.

:desert_island: Cayo Perico Island Support

  • Air Ambulance Support: Now, you can always dispatch air ambulances for downed players on Cayo Perico, ensuring they are safely transported back to the main island. Alternatively, you can set up your own Cayo hospital and have ground ambulances pick them up directly.

:movie_camera: Local Cutscene Video Support

  • You can now play local cutscene videos, supporting playback directly from YouTube or local video files within the script.
