I started this server about two months ago, they seemed to be doing well, but after two months one of their staff, without ic or ooc warning came and destroyed RP me and about 6 other players had been working on for the Valentine Law Department. Then we expressed our concerns how badly this was handled we were given warnings that we shouldn’t be talking about this in OOC. So basically if you speak up in complaint of a staffs actions, even IC, you will get a warning from the staff. We all put many hours into this and were repayedwith no communication and abusive staffer who felt he didn’t need to tell anyone IC or OOC because he had the highest rank in the Law. A fictional rank, on a fictional world lead him to believe he can treat real people poorly.
OOC comminciation is the cornerstone of good RP, after being involved seriously in 9 RedM servers I see that raising resonable concerns is a punishable offence and this server is like any of the other which has failed.
I am sure this review will not last as they scramble to clear their good name. I am sure they will post insults and call me for breaking rules, when all I did was raise concerns about how the situation was handled by their staff. Perhaps the rule shouldn’t be “don’t talk ooc about ic” but “Don’t complain just take it”
To use an analogy, If I was to go into someones property and destroy their writing, because I ran a club house they belonged to, they would be justifably upset. The fact they don’t understand this simple thing, makes me glad I can no longer play on this server. They did me a favor banning me.
