A question about a tweet from FiveM

Hello dear FiveM Team!
I have read your tweet on Twitter where someone can test 128 slots and I wanted to ask if it is possible to test it on my network. I always have 64 players in the afternoon and often wait more than 10 in the queue. At the weekend it will be easy 20-30 players in the queue. Actually, I do not have to worry about the population, because I already deactivated them with an extension because of Performace anyway. I also have the Aurum Club on Patreon if that matters. And if that’s not possible somehow, when will that be available to all Onesync Server owners? I do not want to incite you to rush or somehow. I just wanted to ask nicely.

I would be glad about a positive answer!

best regards
ToLegit

The screenshot you’ve shown was using the cloning-plus branch.
To make use of this, you’ll need to use the specific server as well as all clients need to use the cloning-plus update channel.

Also, the update channel is only available when it’s being tested/activated by elements - and you probably have to compile the server yourself.

If anything I said above doesn’t make sense to you, don’t do it. Easy as that.

Personally I don’t understand that they work on 128 slots when 64 isn’t 100% stable yet. But it’s their decision

They are creating an improved way of syncing entities/world data, not slots. Stop caring about slots so much, it’s about the synchronisation. The slots are just a side benefit. This will also improve your “64 slots”

I’m sure the CFX can enable 1,000 players to be on a server at once. What they are trying to do is make it so that’s realistic and not needing to network an entire DC to support it.
