Got it all working! Thanks for the release @KrizFrost
what i press to show up
I feel like leaving FiveM for couple of months do some good things, nice release and finally a competitor for the GCPhone and it’s resellers (these 80 euro guys lmao)
nice release.
is it possible to send a signal to the ambulance better with a coordinate? or to the other player as in gcphone?
If you’re having this error follow along. Do this directly after the error If you want.
- cd into your 8bit_phone/ui
- Delete manually or using commands, node_modules folder and file package-lock. I’m assuming you already have them.
- Then cd back into 8bit_phone/ui/html
- Then write this: npm install -g webpack webpack-dev-server
- Then write this: npm install --save-dev webpack-cli
- Then this: npm i webpack-cli @webpack-cli/init and this npx webpack-cli init
- If you have any errors use: npm audit fix
- Then perform this: npm cache clean --force
- Write this: npm install
- And last use this: npm run build
After that your screen should look like this, If it helped use that - [
]:
This is only for npm not yarn.
What the heck is Node JS?
how about yarn ?
Is there a way to resize the phone? when adding to the server the phone size is very large and i cannot figure out the best method to making the size of the phone smaller.
Am I able to use SaltyChat with this phone?
how do i cd into the folder?
This had me excited as I’ve been wanting to use something that is more neatly put together then gcphone, so that I can add custom apps.
After a day of going through the code and playing whack-a-mole with bugs/errors I have come to find that the build.js that is included when you download the repo has either been edited or built from a different set of source files. This can be seen for example with the toast.scss being missing in the source files but the scss is in the build.js included. Also if you do rebuild the project the css of the phone seems completely different and apps like yellow pages suddenly don’t work anymore.
Long story short, If you plan on using this, expect to put in a good amount of time solving issues before everything fully works.
I can attest that multiple people have been able to get the phone fully operational and working after putting some time into it, if your looking for something to copy and paste into your server this is not it, you need basic knowledge of node ect… and a little bit of common sense keep in mind this is mythic phone converted to ESX which Mythic stated to rebrand rename due to the amount of work that went into it to fully operation for ESX which was all done and is all done.
You need to change the events in the job?
Anyone maybe know a way to make this work with esx_voice?
Do you know what button you can open the phone with?
why is not use the tokovoid or mumblevoid
Cause I’m not a fan of either of those choices.
Very nice work!
May you make one compatible with esx_inventoryhud?
