Social Club Infinite Loading

Hi, everyone!

I, unfortunately, need some help with my FiveReborn.

I have been playing FiveReborn with my friends when I all of a sudden can’t launch it because of this error. So, after a lot of Googling without finding a solution, I tried MultiFive. I am still getting this issue with MultiFive as well: http://imgur.com/a/ytzf2

I have reinstalled my steam version of GTA 5 twice now. I reinstalled FiveReborn countless times and reinstalled MultiFive 4 times.

When I kill the tasks in task manager, I get this friendly message: http://imgur.com/a/eFoMY

Any help would be amazing. Thanks so much!

Cheers,
Matheson

Did you read the F.A.Q?

Did you change anything? Please do not compare M5 with FiveR.

Re: Social Club Infinite Loading

Crap. I clicked reply as topic. Sorry.

No. I didn’t change anything. I’m thinking my GTA must have updated or done something overnight that screwed everything up.

I have heard that the GTA 5 installation shouldn’t be in the steamapps/common folder. I have removed it and placed it on my desktop.

I launched it again as an admin and it is still stuck on the social club “Loading…” screen. I can launch GTA 5 fine through steam.

I read the FAQ and nothing in there seems to relate to my problem, unfortunately.

GTA V version: 1.0.791.2
Up to date? I believe so!
Legit or Pirate copy? 100% Legit

  • Try to verify your game files through steam.
  • What Windows are you on?
  • Remove the _MV.exe’s

I verified it on steam twice and both times it found nothing wrong.

I am on windows 10

Sorry, I sent you a picture of my M5 install, not my FR install.
Here’s my FR GTA install: http://prntscr.com/cbgek5

Some people say the FiveReborn folder containing the FiveReborn files should be inside your GTA main folder but I’ve tried it with and without it.

Shouldn’t make sense but people reported that compatibility mode Windows 8 works better.

Yep, I’ve heard that as well. I ran it in compatibility mode for windows 8 and 7 but sadly no progress was made.

It must be some file(s) that are corrupt that are being left behind by the steam uninstaller. That’s my best guess.

I tried to recreate the error. I succeded and fixed it by manually installing social club again. Try this.

didnt work for me

@Boss I’ll try that. I’ll report back when done.

did it work for you?

Sadly, no. I deleted GTA 5 via steam then uninstalled Social Club. Reinstalled it with the download you provided. I then installed GTA 5 again.

Unfortunately the problem persists.

would having the pre order DLC Pack cause this?

@Bluemist do not hijack other peoples topic…

I can’t find any way to fix this. Boss, if you could connect on Teamviewer or Skype then I can show you exactly what is happening and hopefully we can find a fix using that.

I’m sorry but we do not offer support over TeamViewer or Skype.
